AMSEC BFX7240 is an exceptionally tall and extra wide gun and rifle safe with internal dimensions of 71.25″H x 40″W x 26″D with a gun capacity of 12-12-12-24-36+2. It has a flexible interior and can be configured to a U-shaped gun rack to handle up to 58 long guns. Regardless of the interior configuration, it can carry two more long guns on the door. A door organizer and two top shelves for your other valuables are also included. This safe has a mirrored back wall for improved internal vision.
Burglary-resistant safe
For burglary classification, this gun and rifle safe has a – RSC Level I certification. Furthermore, it passed a 5-minute test done by a single guy. In this test, the unit was subjected to physical assaults with household instruments such as drills, screwdrivers, and hammers. The AMSEC BFX7240 also has a 2″ thick body, 14 hefty 1-1/2″ chrome-plated locking bolts, an 11-gauge outside steel liner, and a 12-gauge inner steel liner, all of which work together to withstand pry attacks and other forms of burglary.
With dual fire seals
AMSEC BFX7240 has a 120-minute fire protection rating at 1200°F. It can also keep an internal temperature of no more than 350°F for two hours. Even if you put paper items in, they will not char at this temperature. This safe features DryLight, a novel proprietary composite material. It is constructed of concrete, fiberglass, and other elements to form a seamless fire and anti-drill barrier.
AMSEC BFX7240 dual fire seals, which consist of a silicone seal on the door jamb and an expanding seal on the door, further enhance its fire protection capability. During a fire, the expanding seal can extend up to 8 times its thickness to cover gaps. It aids in creating a tight fit, preventing smoke and flames from spreading too quickly.
