AMSEC BFX6636 has a 2″ thick body, 14 hefty 1-1/2″ chrome-plated locking bolts, an 11-gauge outer steel liner, and a 12-gauge inner steel liner, all of which contribute to its burglary resistance. It also comes with four anchor holes for further security and stability during installation. After passing a rigorous 5-minute test conducted by a single man, this gun and rifle safe was awarded an RSC Level I certification for burglary categorization. Furthermore, AMSEC BFX6636 ‘sstrong design withstood physical attacks with common household equipment such as drills, screwdrivers, and hammers.
Two-hour fire rated
This AMSEC BFX6636 gun and rifle safe has a fire rating of 120 minutes at 1200°F and is certified fire-resistant. It can also maintain an internal temperature of no more than 350°F for two hours. DryLight, a new composite material comprised of concrete, fiberglass, and other components, is included in the AMSEC BFX6636. This insulation is installed between the steel and the wall to form a smooth barrier for fire protection and resistance to drilling assaults. Furthermore, this gun safe has a dual fire seal on the door jamb with a silicone seal and an inflatable seal on the door.
