AMSEC CSC1413 Commercial Security Safe is the tiniest in its class. It is perfect for storing documents, jewels, electronic memory devices, valuables, or cash in households and commercial establishments. It can also be used at home. It has an interior dimension of 14″H x 12.50″W x 12.25″D and a storage capacity of 1.2 cubic feet.
RSC Burglary Classification
For burglar safety, AMSEC CSC Series Burglary rated safes have a U.L rating of RSC (Residential Security Container). This safe can survive a 5-minute break-in attempt using hammers, pry bars, adjustable wrenches, punches, chisels, or screwdrivers on all sides.
2 Hour Fire Resistance
AMSEC CSC1413 Burglary Fire Safe is rated for 2 hours at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. When exposed to roaring fires of 1700 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours, the safe’s inside temperature can remain below 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Given that the average house fire only reaches 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, this safe provides excellent fire protection.
Thick steel door and body
The CSC series Composite Safes have a 4 5/8″ steel door and a 2 7/8″ thick steel body. Fire-resistant components are sandwiched between 2″ thick metal panels in the door’s sturdy construction. The door also has intumescent material that protects the locks in the event of a fire. There are four 1½” diameter bolts – two deadbolts and two locking bolts. A Group II Combination lock serves as the locking mechanism. The safe is supported by four rubber bushes.
