The AMSEC BF1512 Burglary Safe with Fire Rating, Small is the smallest safe in the BF series. At 1200-degree F, the AMSEC BF1512 Safe provides 60 minutes of fire protection. If a fire reaches 1200 degrees Fahrenheit outdoors, the interior will only reach 350 degrees Fahrenheit after one hour. It also has a UL RSC Burglary Classification rating.
Features Intumescent Door Seal
AMSEC BF1512 Safe has a one-of-a-kind feature: an intumescent door seal. This means that when exposed to heat, the proprietary material developed by BASF can expand to up to 8 times its original thickness. After expansion, this material, PalusolⓇ, acts as a thermal barrier, providing extra protection for the contents inside.
Double Lock Security
AMSEC BF1512 Burglary Safe features a dual lock mechanism. The Group II number lock is paired with an auxiliary manual turn-handle relock spring-loaded device that is listed by Underwriters Laboratory.

There is a total of 2,340 cubic inches (1.35 cubic feet) of storage space. There are three larger models available as well, with model numbers BF1716, BF2116, and BF3416. The digits represent the safe’s inner width (here, 12 inches) and inner height (here, 15 inches).
