This vault safe can be used both for business and at home. The interior of the AMSEC CE2518 Security Safe is 25 inches high, 18 inches wide, and 16 inches deep.
TL-15 Burglary Rating
AMSEC CE2518 Safe is rated for 2 hours at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This means that after 2 hours of being exposed to a severe fire at 1850 degrees F, the safe’s inside temperature was less than 350 degrees F. This is one of the highest potential fire ratings for a vault or safe. Because the average house fire barely exceeds 1200 degrees F, the fire protection provided by this category of safes is exceptional.
2 Hour Fire Resistance
AMSEC CE2518 Composite Safe also has a TL-15 U.L rating for burglary protection. This rating indicates that a 15-minute break-in attempt using all known power tools – whether carbide cutters, drills, power saws, or sledgehammers – will be denied by this safe. Provides the user with peace of mind.
6-inch steel door and 3½-inch body
AMSEC CE2518 Safe has a 6″ steel door and a 3 ½” thick steel body. The door’s protective barrier is made of proprietary steel nuggets and fibers, as well as composite materials. A Group 2M key changeable combination lock is included on a Heavy Duty pull handle. There are six bolts measuring 1 ½” in diameter. A detent mechanism with a spring-loaded detent is also standard. When the door is open, the bolts remain retracted and engage in closing automatically.
