Four-tiered file cabinet is ideal for small-sized paperwork
The FireKing 4-2536-C file cabinet has four drawers with a total exterior dimension of 36.13″H x 25.31″W x 31.56″D; it weighs 644 lbs., and each drawer has an internal size of 6.25″H x 19.75″W x 26.00″D and 1.86 cubic feet internal storage space. Its shape makes it possible to arrange and keep small-sized materials such as note cards, file cards, pads, and checks. This file cabinet also has a safety feature in the form of a 2-position catch-drawer. It permits you to use one drawer while leaving the other three locked. The interlocking catch-drawer stops the others from opening and protects users from accidental tipping.
Excellent fire resistance
The insulation material of the FireKing 4-2536-C Card and Note Filing Cabinet was subjected to extensive testing to assure its heat resistance and fire prevention. For one hour, the unit was placed within a burn chamber and exposed to an outside temperature of 1700°F. The internal temperature did not rise above 350°F, which is more than adequate for protecting paper files. Files, on the other hand, would burst into flames if the temperature reached 460°F or above.
Prevents water damage
Water resistance is also provided by the insulating material used in the FireKing 4-2536-C Card and Note Filing Cabinet. It protects against water damage caused by fire sprinkler systems and fire hoses. This file cabinet also passed a test in which it was subjected to two situations: a 15-minute test with up to 1,000 gallons of water spray and one hour standing in 6 inches of water.
Powder-coat finish which is scratch-resistant and non-corrosive
This file cabinet has a powder-coat finish with natural non-corrosive qualities, making it sturdier and more long-lasting. Additionally, unlike liquid paints, this paint is flame-resistant as it was thermally cured. Keeping the wonderful exterior of this file cabinet is also a breeze because it is easy to maintain, and the powder coat adds to its high scratch resistance.
