AMSEC MAX2518 Composite Safe is a mid-sized model in AMSEC’s MAX15 Series of High-Security U.L Listed Composite Safes. For individuals who want to secure their possessions at home or at the office, the AMSEC series offers a unique mix of burglary prevention and fire protection. You can keep your laptop, jewelry, passports, camera, firearms, electronic memory devices, valuables, tax returns, documents, or cash depending on the size of the safe.
The number at the end represents the safe’s front dimensions in inches, with MAX1014 being the smallest and MAX6528 being the largest. The numbers represent the internal dimensions, so you may choose a safe based on the size of the object you intend to put inside it.
Sturdy and Robust build
AMSEC MAX2518 U.L Listed safe has a 2 ½” defense barrier made of a unique, high-density fire and burglary proof composite material sandwiched between the outer and inner steel plate layers. For 15 minutes, the special mixture of nuggets and steel barriers survive concerted attacks by burglars wielding sledgehammers, power saws, carbide disc cutters, and drills. Furthermore, the body’s inner steel barrier defends against peeling attacks. The AMSEC MAX2518 High-Security Safe has also been tested and approved for 90 minutes of fire protection.
Convenient Electronic lock
AMSEC MAX2518 Safe contains a number of safety systems. It has a U.L. Listed Type 1 ESL10XL Electronic Lock with an internal relock mechanism and a large drill smashing hard plate. The lock area is further protected by a high-security tempered glass plate. A spring-loaded relocking bolt is also included, which is activated if the glass plate is broken.
